Apogeo Guest House is a boutique hotel concept in San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua, designed to center the hospitality experience of both local and international LGBTQIA2S+ communities, with a focus on queer and trans people of color.

🏡 Unique Architectural Design

The guest house features a distinctive lighthouse-inspired structure, affectionately known by locals as “Casa El Faro.” Designed by retired Nicaraguan architect Nelson Brown and enhanced by designer Sara Elise, the space includes a front room for gathering, an onsite herbal apothecary, guest suites, a kitchen and breakfast nook, a small outdoor fruit and herb garden, a long wooden table for al fresco dining, an in-ground pool with lounge chairs, and an open-air studio.

🛏️ Thoughtfully Curated Accommodations

Each private guest suite is bright and minimally furnished with custom-made pieces that echo the surrounding land, wind, and ocean. Rooms feature eco-luxury amenities such as cotton waffle bathrobes, Olaplex hair care products, whipped shea butter, and natural body wash. Wooden beamed ceilings and local handcrafted artwork enhance the serene atmosphere.

Onsite dining emphasizes healthful, indulgent, and locally-inspired cuisine, incorporating contemporary touches on regional dishes. Guests can enjoy meals through room service or al fresco dining, complemented by signature cocktails while watching the sun set over the Pacific Ocean.
